My first professional experience was helping a paraplegic friend of the family, Gary MacPhearson, on a home-improvement project. We dug ditches for pipes and wires, uprooted trees, planted plants, hauled heavy objects up stairs, and used a variety of tools both in and out of the house.
My second professional experience was in the Boulder County Youth Corps, where over the summer, we improved a variety of locations. Our tasks included restoration of historical sites, planting, weeding, hauling and using tools, and trail building, along with many other skills. I worked with a team of 10 others, so I learned how to work well with others, and how cooperation can help the workplace’s efficiency.
My third professional experience was one in business. I helped co-found a marketing business called Co.nsilium Brand Marketing. We provide branding and marketing services, both long and short term to a variety of customers. We manage social media and websites, design logos and slogans, and market to possible new consumers for the business or group.
